A Near Death Experience

Have you ever felt you were close to death? I'm proud to say that i sort of escaped death when it was staring into my face this afternoon. Never so vunerable have I felt. Thanks for the nurses, and of course God for preserving my life.

I was gasping for air, panting so hard. My throat was so dry. I was shivering as if i was thrown into the north pole naked. I really don't know how this happened. 40.5 Degrees is really very serious. I feel so blessed to have survived this ordeal.

Many people have succumed to the swine flu and entered a coffin. Hopefully in Singapore, no one is gonna get this terrible disease. Well, the people who are most unlikely to get this disease are the muslims of course. Its the chinese who is most susceptible to getting it. Pity those bah kwa shops, sales must definitely dropped due to this outbreak.

In another 2 weeks, the antibiotics chapter is gonna come to a close. May the bacteria be irradicated once and for all. I seriously wonder whether ill be able to live my life normally again. I've been spending so much time living in the hospital, wearing their uniform day in and out. Eating the same food everyweek. Secretly sneaking out to smoke. The list goes on. This hospital has become somewhat of a shell that i've been hiding in. I need to get out of it. I seriously can't imagine anyone who has spent more time in a hosptial other than myself.

Mummy got me Ben and Jerry's ice cream just now in an attempt to bring down the temperature. DAMN it was sooooo good. I'm a ice cream whore. But i've been deprived of it for 30 days plus and counting. Way way way too long. If there's an ice cream buffet out there, and you like ice cream too, kindly ask me along :)

Anyway, i managed to catch the star awards yesterday. It was quite frustrating to keep switching between channel 5 and 8. X men is good, yet, i really wanted to see Little Nonya fail to get awards at the ceremony. I for 0ne is not a fan of this little nonya bullshit. The plot sucks, the ending was bad. But i must admit, Joanne Peh's acting really deserved a standing O. It was just so right for her to win the best actress instead of the stupid flat bitch. Fucking hell wood xuan is soooo damn overhyped. I had a good laugh, Little Nonya only bagged 4 awards. Most importantly, HUI-GE was in the top 10 most popular male actors. Kudos for him. He's one hell of a funny dude.
